HS | Piriformis

Piriformis is both an external rotator and abductor of the hip. It can easily get tight due to weakness, overuse or injury/pain.


(For the right side:) Lie on your back with your left foot straight. Pull you right knee towards your left shoulder. To add in a further stretch grab your right foot and slightly extend your knee to increase the stretch.
(Repeat on other side for left).
