ES | Elbow Extension (static)


To help improve elbow extension range of motion.


Lying on your back, place a towel under your arm just above your elbow. Straighten the elbow as far as possible, and allow it to hang and stretch into extension. You can hold a small 0.5kg or 1kg weight to help further the stretch and weigh the arm down. Try to hold for 60s if possible, however work within your pain tolerance.

You may feels some discomfort with this stretch so work within your comfort limits.
